So it’s Friday (cheers!), and the weekend is pretty much here. I’m sure you have plans set and a multitude of things you must get done. But what are you planning to do for yourself? I challenge you to get a pen and paper out and write down what you’re going to do, what YOU WANT to do, today, tomorrow and Sunday for YOU. Here’s my list:
Today – I’m going to get my 25 minute at home workout in while the kids nap (bring it Shaun T!). And I’m not going to feel bad that instead, I “should” pull the house together as it currently looks like a cluster you-know-what.
Saturday – I’m going to get my nails done. I don’t remember the last time I had a mani/pedi, and I think I deserve it. I might even go nuts and enjoy them doing my hands and feet separately instead of pleading for them to do my hands and feet at the same time so I can rush out the door to get home.
Sunday – I’m going to stay in bed until 10AM. Yup, 10AM. How can I do that with kids? Well my sister is amazing and is taking the kids overnight on Saturday when we go to a wedding so she is dropping them off at 10AM on Sunday. There are a zillion things I could get done at my house while they’re away, but that stuff can wait. I have not laid in bed until 10AM in years. I’m due and it sounds heavenly.
